Day 154, Tuesday

So, we're chugging along happily. Last night Keith made a cake his grandmother used to make. It's called Cinnamon Flop. It was yummy. After he made that we made dinner - tortolini. There really wasn't enough of that for the both of us, but we made it work. Ended up having a lot of sauce left over, which I jarred back up and refrigerated. While the pasta was cooking I made cookies. We got shorted 1 by Pillsbury. Yarrr. I was kind of annoyed by that factor, but whatever. They're still good. They're the Halloween cookies that have the scared cat on it. I think of Oreo because it's a grey cat. At any rate, work has been picking up a bit and Fred (my manager) says we'll discuss raises 2nd week of November. That makes me happy.

I want to start Christmas shopping now because a lot of stores are reintroducing Layaway, which is great, because we can pay a little now and pay the rest over the course of 8 weeks. That's right in time for Christmas! Can you believe October is nearly over? I can't get over how quickly this year has gone. It doesn't seem like 5 months for Keith and I already, granted it seems longer because of how close we are, but it seems like yesterday that we started talking sometimes.

My little diva is so spoiled she expects a can of cat food every morning before her Daddy and I leave for work. She's such a snob. I love her anyway. She has so many nicknames it's unbelievable. Well then.. let's see. I plan on starting our scrapbook tonight now that I have pictures and a scrapbook with sliders in it. I'm excited. Oh, so I finished a third wedding video. Go to my YouTube profile and you can view all three.. http://www.youtube.com/user/Krissie8605?feature=mhsn. Let me know your thoughts.

Yesterday, I left work early because I wasn't feeling well. I was dizzy, cold sweats, and felt like I could vomit at any time. Well, I went home and slept til Keith got home from work. Thanks to Terri for bringing him home. I figured it was due to something I had eaten. It turns out to be true. I had yogurt yesterday that apparently expired September 29, and I just bought them about two weeks ago. So I' might call Wal-Mart and yell at them for not keeping an eye on their stock. That is gross.

Still no word on my Blazer. I'm square with Kenny for the work he has already done to it, which was replacing the timing belt, thermostat, and the radiator. So I'm sure you can imagine that I'm getting rather annoyed because I want it back. I feel like I am taking advantage of Keith because of having to use his vehicle. I mean, I've been helping with gas and I am going to help toward the maintenance that we just had done on it last week, but it's just the whole point. I feel like crap about it.

On a side note, I'm a little down today.. but I'm not going to divulge into what is bothering me. A certain someone knows what it is, or at least should know. Well, I think that's really about all to write today. See you later or tomorrow!

Day 150, Act the Second

Just finishing up another rough week at work. There hasn't been a lot going on, but it feels like I'm so overwhelmed here sometimes. Just finished the work blog yesterday, and I gotta start prepping for the next one (topics? anyone who knows about knobs?).

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. It purports to be pretty quiet (here's hopin'!) after the events of the week. I'm hoping to get some much-needed rest, plus we're going to Malvern to visit Bryan and Kate. Maybe my sister will even decide to show up...

Anyway, I have to keep this short, or the boss might come after me. Ciao for now!

Day 150

So, today is 150 for us! I'm glad. We're chugging along great! I'm so unbelievably happy. I'm glad I moved here to be with Keith. I'm excited for Halloween!! Next Friday the kiddos get to trick-or-treat and we'll be passing out candy. Afterwards, on Saturday we have our studio photos at Sears. I can't wait! Then we have Thanksgiving which is going to be fulfilling. And then my favorite holiday!! CHRISTMAS!! I can't wait to decorate our house. Our first Christmas of many, many more to come. I was looking around and I've decided I think I want a Kindle. Here's a link..

Hmm, Keith should be writing soon. He's being a bum about it! LOL. Anyway.. that's really about all for now.. See you soon!!

Day 149

We're on day 149! Yay! But, kind of between a rock and a hard place right now.. I have no health insurance at the moment, and I need it. The company I work for doesn't offer it and hasn't for about 2 years, but may in the future. *sigh* So I applied for state run medical insurance and after everything they say no - that's because Keith and I live together both of our incomes had to be taken into account and he makes too much. I talked to Dad about adding me back to his insurance because of the new Healthcare Reform Bill, but he can't until January, depending on the price increase. So I applied for two other insurances on-line. Geisinger and Aetna. They're pending review now.

On a lighter note, our little vacation day yesterday was fun. We did nothing, as planned. At any rate, we had choir last night. We're preparing for the Cantada. I'm excited about it, however, there's a woman in the choir who brings her children, but she can't really keep her daughter under control so there's constant interruption. I can't concentrate and I know some of the other ladies have the same feelings. They mentioned it to me. I don't want to, but it'll bring me to the point of leaving even after just joining. I have no tolerance for it. If you can't control your child in public, leave them at home and hire a babysitter.

There's not much to write today, so I will end this short. Have a good one.

Day 147

Today, Keith and I have been together for 147 days. They have been the best days of my life. So, this morning we were woken up by the little diva.. Oreo. She was trying to get on the nightstand and we're trying to keep her off things she shouldn't be on, then she decided to play on top of a box. It's as if she's starved for attention. Pssh. Anyway, we got out of bed, showered, ate, and took the trash out.. It's raining and I'm wearing white pants.. smoooooth move on my behalf.

So I dropped Keith off at work and called my dad on my way to my job. I asked if he heard anything about my Blazer yet, but no word. He's going to stop over tonight at the mechanic to see what's up with it. Furthermore, I get to work and Fred's not here. I come in check emails and I had an email from him at 7:18 this morning inviting me to the New Holland Business Association Breakfast that started at 7:30-8:30. Well, obviously being I come into work at 8am, I wasn't going.

At any rate.. the morning here has been exceptionally slow. I'm working until 2pm today and am off tomorrow because I was supposed to go back home for a court hearing with dad, but that has since been cancelled. So I am looking forward to relaxing tomorrow with Keith and Oreo all day and being lazy. Our maintenance crew showed up today without calling Keith about setting up a time to come over when someone is there. So hopefully they will be coming over tomorrow to fix our outside storage door and the toilet - it's loose on the floor, which is somewhat of a concern, but I think I can do that on my own if we have a monkey wrench. Heck, I've done the landscaping that is supposed to be done by our landlord. I did a better job anyway.

Well, that's really all I can write for now. More updates to come.
